Tasnim is a registered dietitian (RDN) and a certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC) from San Diego, CA. She received her bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition at San Diego State University, completed her dietetic program at the University of California San Diego Medical Center, and obtained her master's in Integrative Wellness at Point Loma Nazarene University. She currently works as a clinical dietitian at Sharp Chula Vista hospital, where she provides nutrition screening and implements individualized and catered medical nutrition therapy. Tasnim also works health coach with the Centers for Integrative Health at the University of California San Diego. She coaches group visits with adults with chronic diseases in goal setting, encouraging self-efficacy, and being a partner in their person centered pathway to success.

Tasnim has been working and volunteering in her community locally and nationally with the Muslim American Society and mosques. Tasnim was the founder of several Muslim youth groups ages 6-18 for a few years, followed by being the director of a Muslim sports group for a couple of years and mentor leader. Tasnim previously served as the director for nationwide Tarbiya and Ilm Camps (TIC), training regional leaders to organize regional, spiritually transformative camps for college and young professionals. Tasnim is grateful for the experiences and opportunities to mentor, uplift, and cultivate young Muslim leaders.
